Under 14 and Under 16 are invited to a morning of CHESS and ADVENTURE GOLF!

(born 92, 93, 94, 95)

Where: Adventure Golf Fourways Mall.

When: Sunday 4th March 10.00am to 1pm

Bring: R27.00 for admission to the golf (which includes one cold drink) and R20.00 coaching fee. Packed snacks and drinks; or money for tuck.

Registration and payment: 9.30am in the Adventure Golf foyer.

Coaching will focus specifically on two openings, the Sicilian and the French. At nationals last year some of our players met these for the first time and did not know how to respond. We will be working on how to recognise and defend against them and for the more advanced players, how to use them to advantage. We will provide chess sets this time, please do not bring any from home. To really get benefit, we would like to have not more than five players per coach, so please RSVP and confirm your attendance. Coaching clinic will start at 10am sharp, please be on time. Chess playing friends, siblings and parents are welcome to join us for the morning.
